Tournament URL (Slug)
ScoreBB lets you generate a clean URL like scorebb.com/tournament/stranglebowl-6. This is optional and can be reset at any time.
- Save the tournament with the name you want.
- In Details, find Tournament URL (preview).
- Click Generate URL.
Notes:
- The preview updates as you change the name.
- Use Remove link to clear the URL and generate a new one if needed.
Configuring Preferences
On the Preferences page, set up:
- Point Scheme - Win/draw/loss points
- Tiebreakers - How to rank equal scores
- Bonus Rules - Additional points for achievements
- Pairing Algorithm - Swiss (Dutch/Monrad) or Random
See Preferences for details.
Publishing Your Tournament
Tournaments start as drafts. When ready, use the status control in the Details page header:
- Check the current status badge (Published or Unpublished)
- Click Change (pencil)
- Confirm the publish/unpublish action
Once published, coaches can find and join your event.
Deleting a Tournament
The Delete Tournament button is in the Details page header. Once a tournament has started (rounds in progress), deletion is blocked to prevent accidental data loss.
Deleting a tournament is permanent and cannot be undone.
