Hiding Standings
Control what participants can see during your tournament.
Hide Top Standings
Keep the leaderboard secret to maintain suspense:
- Show all - Full standings visible to everyone
- Hide all - Participants see nothing (just a placeholder message)
- Hide some - Hide the top N positions (e.g., hide top 3)
Hidden positions show a "Hidden" placeholder instead of names and scores.
Hide Only on Final Round
You can keep standings visible during earlier rounds and hide them only during the final round:
- Hide only on final round (Standings)
- Hide only on final round (Awards)
This is useful when you want transparency during the event but still save the final reveal for the end.
Hide Awards
Toggle whether participants can see the awards page:
- When hidden, participants see a message that awards will be revealed later
- Useful for surprise reveals at the end of the tournament
What Organisers See
Visibility settings only affect what participants see. You and other organisers always see full standings, awards, and statistics regardless of these settings.
This allows you to manage the tournament while keeping results secret from players.
Common Uses
During the tournament:
- Hide top 3 positions to keep the winner unknown until final reveal
- Hide awards to save the "Most Casualties" surprise for the ceremony
Final round:
- Hide all standings so players don't know final positions
- Reveal everything after announcing results
Multi-day events:
- Start each day with standings hidden
- Reveal at the end of each day
For maximum drama, hide all standings before the final round, then reveal everything during your awards ceremony.
